Sarah Collins is one of four founders of the Quinton Fortune Football Academy. Sarah has over 24 years experience of working within the Sporting environment having worked in Sports Broadcasting at the BBC for over 22 years. In her role as Head of Sport she has attended Champions League Finals, Common Wealth Games, worked behind the scenes at 100\s of Football and Rugby League games, as well as travelling around the world following Ricky Hatton fighting in Las Vegas and investigating the former Bolton Wanderers skipper, Jay Jay Okacha\s home life in Nigeria for the BBC World Service.

Within the role as Sports Editor, Ms Collins established herself quite a reputation for doing business in the Sports environment within the North West, working closely with clubs such as Manchester United and Manchester City FC, partnering up with major events such as the Greater Sport Awards and the North West Football Awards, Sarah has always engaged with growing Sport within her remit. She has also worked for BBC 5Live and talkSPORT.

Sarah has recently hosted events alongside elite athletes like Tracey Neville, Beth Tweddle, Dame Kelly Holmes & Diane Modahl as well as appearing on prestigious Sports panels also. Alongside the day job she herself is a qualified Coach, and founded the successful Dominoes Junior Netball Club in East Manchester. A club that has tripled in size in the past 12 months, coaching over 100 young children at their after school club.

After leaving the BBC earlier this year Sarah has now turned her attentions to setting up the Quinton Fortune Football Academy. Her sole ambition is to get as many children as possible, where ever they are from, in any part of the UK engaging in the #Trainasyouplay Academy sessions. Quinton Fortune is one of the great players who made his mark at Old Trafford' says Sarah . To be able to work with him and pursue his ambitions to establish his own Football Academy across Manchester, the UK and the globe is very exciting. I cannot wait to share Quinton's passion for the game with the younger football generation. From the moment I was first approached about the idea of the Quinton Fortune Academy, to actually taking part in some of our pilot sessionswith young footballers I know this will be a fabulous Project to see through to hopefully Quintons home town in South Africa!
